Equine Trails

A perfect trekking experience for all ability levels, set in the magnificent grounds of Borris House, ancestral home to the Kings of Leinster. Come and enjoy the spectacular scenery in 650 acres of parkland and woodland, fringed by the River Barrow. All rides are accompanied by a fully qualified instructor with trails suitable for non-riders through to advanced riders. Horse and rider are carefully matched, based on experience levels.

Riding lessons are also available for all levels of experience and ability, in an arena or in a safe but natural environment, jumping optional. Approved by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments with safety a top priority of the owner.

Visitors who have their own horse are more than welcome to come and develop your true potential together. Stabling is available, so why not stay in local self-catering or hotel accommodation and enjoy a complete break while spending some quality time with your horse.

Admission charges: €35 one person. €30 two or more. €25 child.
